Children's Discipleship Wing Ground Breaking

The plans are done and the permits are nearly ready, so its time to celebrate the official groundbreaking for our new Children's Discipleship Wing. Weather permitting, we will enjoy a BBQ picnic on Sunday, October 4th at 12:30 PM with chairs and tables set up in the Rock parking lot. Burgers, hot dogs, sides and drinks will be provided. After lunch we will have our groundbreaking ceremony and pray over the project and those working on it.
Since the service will be in the parking lot, we ask that everyone except our Seniors and those with mobility issues, to please park at the Lone Star Middle School and walk over next Sunday.
We will also be taking a Rock Family picture, so wear your Rock t-shirt if you have one. If you don't, shirts will be available for purchase at the ceremony ($5 per person). The first phase of the project (plan, underground work, and concrete slab) is fully funded, so there will be a special offering received at the celebration for the second phase of the project (framing and enclosing the structure). Even if you don't come to the in-person service that morning, feel free to join us for the outdoor celebration at 12:30.
